These verifications are performed by BGV companies at the request of their clients or on behalf of individuals.

The Company provides its services to you under the notices, terms, and conditions outlined in these Terms of Use. Additionally, when using any certcheck.in service (such as a verification request), you will also be subject to any relevant rules, guidelines, policies, terms, and conditions provided by the Company, which are incorporated into these Terms of Use by reference. The Company reserves the right to modify the Platform and these terms and conditions at any time. It also retains the right to restrict access to any individual who is believed to have violated these Terms of Use.

BY ACCESSING, BROWSING, OR OTHERWISE USING THE PLATFORM, YOU AGREE TO ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OUTLINED IN THIS AGREEMENT. PLEASE ENSURE YOU READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING.

01 - Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older. By accessing certcheck.in or accepting these Terms of Use, you confirm and warrant to the Company that you meet this age requirement, and that you have the right, authority, and ability to use the Platform and agree to abide by these Terms of Use. You further confirm and warrant that you will use certcheck.in in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

02 - Contents Posted on the platform

You are responsible for any notes, messages, emails, posts, photos, drawings, profiles, opinions, ideas, text, images, videos, audio files, or other materials that establish proof of identity, address, educational qualifications, professional references, or any other information that you post or transmit to the Platform (collectively referred to as “the Content”).

You agree that the Company may use it in accordance with our Privacy Policy and these Terms of Use, and you acknowledge that you are not entitled to any payment or compensation for such use.

03 - Rules of Conduct on the Platform

• You are prohibited from posting, distributing, or reproducing any copyrighted material, trademarks, or other proprietary information without first obtaining the prior written consent of the owner of those proprietary rights.
• The Company reserves the right to review, edit, reject, refuse to post, or delete any Content that, in its sole discretion, violates these Terms of Use or is deemed offensive, illegal, or harmful. This includes Content that may violate the rights, safety, or well-being of another person.
• Any information you provide on this Platform must be accurate and not misleading in any way.
• The Company explicitly prohibits any other use of certcheck.in, and all Users agree not to engage in the following activities:
  • Use the Universities/Company’s databases for any purpose other than conducting background verification checks of candidates/employees, including, but not limited to, using the information in the database to sell or promote any products or services.
  • Take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the Platform’s infrastructure.
  • Attempt to decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any of the software that comprises or is in any way a part of the Platform.
• You must use the Platform in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Illegal and/or unauthorized uses of the Platform, including, but not limited to, collecting usernames and/or email addresses of registered members through electronic or other means for sending unsolicited emails, and unauthorized framing or linking to the Platform, are strictly prohibited. This also includes the unauthorized interception of data streams going to or coming from the Platform, as well as attempting to gain unauthorized access or exceeding your authorized access.
• You acknowledge that the Company has the right to disclose any information (including the identity of individuals providing information or materials on the Platform) as necessary to comply with laws, regulations, or valid governmental requests. This may include, but is not limited to, disclosing information in connection with investigations of alleged illegal activities or in response to a lawful court order or summons. Additionally, the Company may, at its sole discretion, disclose any information about you to law enforcement or other government officials if deemed necessary or appropriate in connection with the investigation and/or resolution of potential crimes, particularly those involving personal injury.
• It is possible that other users (including unauthorized users or 'hackers') may post or transmit offensive or obscene materials on the Platform, and you may inadvertently be exposed to such content. Additionally, it is possible for others to obtain personal information about you due to your use of the Platform, and that this information could be used to harass or harm you. While certcheck.in does not endorse such unauthorized uses, you acknowledge and agree that the Company is not responsible for the use of any personal information that you publicly disclose or share with others on the Platform. Therefore, please exercise caution and carefully select the type of information you choose to disclose or share publicly.
  
  On non-conformance by users to any of the aforesaid terms, the Company may, at its sole discretion, restrict or terminate the offending user’s ability to access the Platform and determine whether to take any other actions, including removing or requesting the removal of the Content.

This constitutes your consent to the manner in which such information and sensitive personal data may be accessed, used, exploited, and stored by the Company. Retrieving a report of information obtained during the authentication process and sharing it with the Client in a format and manner as determined by us and/or the Client.

05 - Liability of the Company

The Company offers a platform that provides educational certificate verification services to employers, employees, and in other situations where individuals seek background verification of others. These verifications are based on the information provided to the Company during the verification process. Since the Company is not the source of the data gathered, and the findings rely on the information made available, it cannot verify or ratify these findings. The Company is not involved in the actual transactions between employers and candidates, or any other transactions between individuals, other than offering background verification services. Therefore, the Company has no control over the quality, safety, or legality of the personal profiles posted, the truth or accuracy of the supporting materials, the ability of employers to offer job opportunities, or the ability of candidates to fill job openings. The Company makes no representations about any jobs, resumes, candidates' suitability, or any content posted on the Platform.

The Company cannot guarantee and does not promise any specific results from the use of certcheck.in. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by a user from the Company or through or from certcheck.in, shall create any warranty not expressly stated herein.

06 - Disclaimer of Warranties and Liability

This Platform, along with all materials and products (including but not limited to software) and services provided on or through the Platform, are offered by the Company on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any representations or warranties, express or implied, except as may be otherwise specified in writing.

The Company will not be liable to you in any way regarding the contents of, use of, or any other matter related to this Platform. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Company makes no warranties about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of the content, services, software, text, graphics, and links provided on the Platform.

Nothing on this Platform constitutes, or is meant to constitute, advice of any kind. In no event shall the Company, its service providers, or any third parties mentioned on this Platform be liable for any damages whatsoever, including but not limited to incidental and consequential damages, lost profits, or damages resulting from lost data or business interruption. You must not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute such material in any way, including by email or other electronic means, whether directly or indirectly, nor assist anyone else in doing so. Without prior written consent from Certcheck, modifying the materials, using them on any other web Platform or networked computer environment, or using them for any purpose other than personal, non-commercial use is a violation of copyrights, trademarks, and other proprietary rights, and is prohibited. Any use for which you receive remuneration, whether in money or otherwise, is considered a commercial use for the purposes of this clause.
